Emily & Valur

Hello my friends! This is a very meaningful Engagement Session and let me tell you why... Emily & Valur met while doing Yoga at a Thai Retreat. Emily traveled from Houston while Valur traveled from Switzerland.  They were complete strangers who ended up being partners for an excercise where they had to look at each others eyes for several minutes!  Can you believe how romantic their story is? Now they are planning their wedding! Valur, who is still working in Switzerland, visited Emily a few weeks ago to have their engagement session done and finish up the last details of their wedding plans! Here are some of our favorite images of their photo session. They are very meaningful because they represent the way they fell in love.

6TH SENSE, A Photography Workshop!

THE 6th SENSE A PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP As you know, our thing is pretty much capturing all those crazy things happening when two people are in love. We mostly photograph weddings & couples, but we surely enjoy doing all kind of portraits and giving them that twist that makes you say "Wow"! We have developed the Stage I with the basics of photography and are very excited about sharing it with you. We assure you that you will have a great time while learning photography and by the time you complete the course, you will be capturing and creating amazing images that you never thought you would be able to do with your camera!    What will you learn You will learn how to use the basic functions of your camera; exposure, aperture, speed, ISO, focus points, metering modes, histogram, and how to control your light and composition. At the end of the course you will be able to use your camera in Manual mode instead of Automatic or Program P (P does not stand for Professional, by the way). More importantly, you will learn when to use certain settings, according to the type of photography or the unique circumstances of the shooting.   We'll do demonstrations during class and take you outside the classroom to do some field work. You will be shooting a lot! because this is about practice and, of course, you'll be also taking notes.      Who can attend this course? You don’t need any knowledge about the subject. This course is for anyone wanting to learn how to use a professional camera and for those who want to get more involved in photography and be able to take on any photography opportunity with confidence. We will be receiving donations for Bay Area Turning Point. BATP offers quality direct services to child and adult victims and families experiencing domestic and sexual violence. Their Crisis Intervention Center is located in Webster, TX.
